The Language of Trees
White clouds, like ethereal tongues
Lick the upper branches of the tall pines
Outside my window: carefully
I gather the descending secrets
From the mix of golden needles
Lying on the ground, already
Resting in the afterglow of life...
No one knows that I have hidden
The secrets of the pines under my bed:
No one knows that now I dream
In the ancient language of trees:
But this I can tell you
The surest path into this Mystery
Is to place your head upon the ground
And raise your arms and voice for One Love...
The language of trees: in the stillness of a forest, if one can, for awhile, adopt the stance of a tree, it is still possible to converse with the Divine... the language of trees is as subtle as the brushing kiss of the slightest breeze... birds and deer are quick to notice the harmonic convergence of heard and unheard -- but not as quick as butterfly or bee... every living thing exists as one inter-being: it is all a matter of light and vibration... but even matter -- thought of as "solid" (but not really) -- is joined in the very same Dancing Poem: light and vibration: inter-being. This is important to understand (on some level) because, right now, everything is speaking the language of awakening: "climate change": certainly. But more: this is a "transfiguration time": humanity is poised to take its next step: conscious evolution. Incredible changes will be required of everyone. No one will be exempt (that is how come there is so much resistance to the possibilities of NOW). Integrity upon the mystic-activist path is step one: interiorize the global transfiguration: practice beauty, harmlessness, kindness, justice, equality, mindfulness, meditation, simplicity, and radiance. Step two: gather as "imaginal cells": groups of 6 - 12 people and practice together, live together, share resources, laugh and play and eat together, organize together, activate compassion and light-heartedness together. Step three: network with other "sacred circles": unwind the dominator paradigm, discover and practice the leadership of "mothering", liberate the sacred feminine in both men and women, imagine paradise, and leave no one behind... It is time: place your head upon the ground, and raise your arms and your voice for One Love.
