If the world is eventually going to be safe for every child, the staus quo of dominator politics and economics must be transformed into what Martin Luther King, Jr. called the "Beloved Community". This new politics and economics must also be rooted in the personalism of community organizing and activism. Those who either possess the power, or represent the principlalities that currently rule this planet, will not yield their power, wealth, or control without the confounding challenge, vision, and determined perseverance of enlightened revolutionary masses in every country. The nonviolent "Soul Force" of Gandhi and King provides the activist with the "revolutionary compass" to maintain our focus on the "true north" of justice, equality, sustenance, and peace for all -- not just the very few.
Only One Just say the Word And every border Will vanish this very night. We could tomorrow all wake up And not know if we're coming or going. Then we might finally understand: We are all, each one of us, aliens Until our pilgrim hearts Find their rest in Your embrace... "La Illaha, Il Allahu" We think we are many, But we are really only one... (Just say the Word...)
